Bio
Formed from the converging of the three primary threads of time, The Renaissance Engine's single goal is to provide you with tiny pockets of pleasure. Hopefully, sometimes we hit the mark.

Influences include The Damned, and Captain Sensible's solo work; various 60's garage music (from whence we derive our "do it yourself" recording ethic); The Ramones; and many more.
We strive for a poppy, punky, psychedelicy type of sound.

The Renaissance Engine's music consists of multiple layers of guitar (the noisier, the better), a bass, some drums, vocals, and keyboard.

It may be law that somewhere in a Renaissance Engine song there has to be a keyboard making a "ooh-eeh-ooh" noise.

The vocalist wishes that his "lyrical Kung Fu" came easier to him, then there wouldn't be so many instrumentals.

Though our reality is questionable, we appreciate you allowing us to spend a little time in your minds. And while we're there, dancing and playing, why not brew us a nice cup of tea? It would be gratefully received.
